Kirsten's first solo album,Be Not Afraid (R2/REL) is a celebration of 3 millenia of Celtic Christian music which was recorded at Millenium Studios in Ontario.

Kirsten has recorded on over 15 albums, including the collection Robert Burns - The Complete Songs (Linn).
She has also given workshops for Celtic Connections Education Programme, The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama's Outreach Programme, Goderich's Celtic College in Ontario and The Arts Factory and she has done vocal coaching for BBC Television Scotland.
As a 'Glasgow girl', Kirsten has been priviledged to sing for her home city on more than one occasion for the city's twinning celebrations in Glasgow, Scotland, Nuremberg in Germany and Rostov-On-Don in Russia.
